Mixed Reality Storytelling App for Charity

Process
Combining mixed reality and apps for story-telling, and augmenting reality and virtual reality for exploration, Aquila Technology creates a complete story journey under the concept of picture books. By inserting different mini-games in the story experience and enhancing the experience design, viewers can immerse themselves in the world of subdivided housing and better understand the lives of people in subdivided housing.

Project Space hopes to raise children's and the public's understanding of subdivided housing in Hong Kong through the production of this app. Given this, the production team takes fairy tale narratives as the theme, uses children’s book illustrations, and combines various interactive games as the main narrative technique. The narration of the app is extended to different levels by adding AR model viewing and VR story chapters. With different accessories such as head-mounted glasses, viewers can obtain a deeper story experience and a better understanding of life in a subdivided room.
